Brodie to his friends. Brodie is a big strong lad who combines a very distinctive line within his pedigree of pure Seal & Blues lines on his Mothers side and the newer Chocolate and Lilac lines on his Fathers side. Brodie is one of the last kittens sired by the late Champion Zaparta Solomon who was owned by Sue Clowes of Zachini fame.

Sue has been my friend and mentor for the last four years and I am indebted to her for all her support. I also thank Edna Morris of Cedamadhatter for allowing Brodie to join the ranks of Elmarlay. Brodie is not a happy lad on the show bench so sadly he has retired as he found the whole show experience stressful. So he is going to stay at home and mind all the local wild life instead.

 Lexx to his friends. Lexx came to Elmarlay from Audrey Saye of the Esaya Cattery, he is quite unique for Esaya being a Red Tabby as a general rule Audrey does not experiment with mixing the Red and Tabby lines, but boy are we so glad she did this one off mating as Lexx simply blew me away and am so grateful to Audrey for allowing me the honour of owning and showing Lexx.

Lexx has been confirmed by DNA swab testing to be a Red Tabby, as he caused some confusion amongst fellow breeders.

Lexx I hope will reintroduce the Red series to Elmarlay but also extend my Tabby lines. Lexx has had a good start to the 2008 show year, he finished his kitten career in early February. He has attended three shows as an adult and we are pleased to say that Lexx has achieved the title of Champion. Way to go kid we are so proud of you. Lexx is the 2nd Champion that I own, but the exciting bit is that Lexx is the 1st Esaya Red Tabby Champion, - Well Done to Audrey his breeder for breeding Lexx.

We welcome Koolblue Kleverklogs to the Elmarlay Tribe. Our deepest thanks go to Lorraine Brown for not only breeding our handsome lad but also allowing him to come home to Elmarlay. I know it was a tough decision but he is here to stay and will be treasured!!

Scout as he will be known is a Black Smoke and White. He has an interesting pedigree combining early Russian Lines from dad and newer lines bought into the UK by his Holland bred mother. Hence the Kleverklogs in his name as Lorraine wanted a Holland theme for the litter and well it suited him so well with his four white feet. His smoke is still coming through and the picture does not show it clearly. Scout is currently out and about on the show bench. I hope Scout and Zahara will be having a colourful litter of Siberians in the not to distant future.
